Employer paid fees is the lowest in the industry which makes it possible for small businesses, as well as large corporations. to avail themselves of our service yet we guarantee the best service. For the employer/principals, they should submit the following:

  • Special Power of Attorney or Service/Recruitment Agreement
  • Master Employment Contract with the minimum contract provision
  • Manpower Request.

If there is no POLO at the jobsite the employer shall undergo the POEA accreditation process where the local agent submits to the POEA item a, b, and c above as well as the visa or equivalent documents.
For manning principals, they should submit the following:

  • Manning agreement containing, among others, the responsibilities of both principal and manning agency with respect to the employment of seafarers;
  • Special Power of Attorney;
  • List of ships and their particulars including IMO number;
  • Crew complement;
  • Valid business license registration certificate, or equivalent document, or proof of existence of business validated or certified by the issuing authority in the host country; and
  • Other documents which the POEA find necessary A foreign principal who acts as a direct employer of a land-based worker may be registered to more than one (1) Philippine agency while a foreign principal who is licensed to operate as a foreign placement agency may be registered/ accredited a maximum of two (2) Philippine agencies subject to the conditions prescribed by the POEA.

EXPENSES FOR HIRING FILIPINO WORKERS
Private land-based recruitment agencies change service fees from the employers/principals as payment for services rendered in the recruitment and placement of workers. The employers also pay the cost of:

  • POEA processing, PhP200.00
  • Worker membership with the Overseas Workers Welfare Administration (OWWA), US$25.00
  • Visa Fee

Private land-based recruitment agencies are allowed to collect from its selected/hired workers a placement fee equivalent to one (1) month salary, except in countries where laws prohibit collection of fees from workers.
POEA EXIT CLEARANCE FOR OFWS
The exit clearance come in the form of an E-Receipt (electronic receipt) or an Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) certifying to the regularity of a workers recruitment and documentation and ensures exemption from travel tax and airport terminal fee. It is presented at the POEA Labor Assistance Center (LAC) and the Bureau of Immigration (BI) counter at the airports, prior to departure.
The E-Receipt or OEC serves as the worker’s guarantee that he/she is covered by government protection and benefits.

REQUIREMENTS FOR RENEWAL OF PASSPORT

Brown Passport or issued prior to 01 May 1995
Old passport and photocopy of passport pages 1,2,3 (amendment).  The pages showing latest Bureau of Immigration departure and arrival stamps.
Supporting document with complete middle name.
Green Passport or issued after 01 May 1995
Present passport and photocopy of inside and back cover. 
The pages showing latest Bureau of Immigration departure and arrival stamps.
For illegitimate minor, personal appearance of mother is required.
For married women, who want to use surname of their spouse:
Personal Appearance is required
Marriage Contract (MC) in Security Paper issued by NSO or CTC issued by the Local Civil Registrar duly authenticated by NSO.

 

HOW TO REGISTER WITH THE POEA   (www.poea.gov.ph)

  1. A foreign principal who wishes to hire workers from the Philippines is required to be registered with the POEA (Philippine Overseas Employment Administration) through a duly POEA-licensed recruitment agency.  Registration is required before any recruitment activity can be conducted.
  2. Certain documents need to be attested by the POLO (Philippine Labor Office),  and then authenticated by the Philippine Consulate General, prior to registration at the POEA.

This document must be printed out using your company letterhead, and duly signed by your company representative (CEO, President, General Manager, HR Director or Manager).  Prior to filing, the SPA needs to be notarized by a recognized notary officer or as per notary requirements imposed by the principal’s State/Country.
   
B. POEA Standard Employment Contract (SEC) Download sample format in PDF
Please fill in Part A (Employer Information) on the first page.  Leave all other information blank.  The second page must be signed by your company representative.
   
C. Manpower Request or Job Order (JO)

This document must be printed out using your company letterhead, and duly signed by your company representative.  Please make the necessary applicable changes to the highlighted text.  Indicate the currency used or the prevailing exchange rate from local currency to US dollars.
The Categories and Numbers Required, should indicate your anticipated staffing needs for a period of two (2) years.
For Canada principals, the Categories and Numbers Required must match the approved LMO (Labor Market Opinion).  For USA principals, the Categories and Numbers Required must match the approved Labor Certification (form ETA-750).
   
D. A sample copy of your company’s Master Employment Contract or Offer Letter, printed on your company letterhead
   
E. Photocopy of your company’s valid Commercial Trade License or Business Permit

H. For Canada principals only:  A copy of the LMO pre-approval letter or ELMO pre-approval letter for the categories being recruited (this must match the Categories and Numbers Required on the Job Order being filed – see item C above).
   
I. For USA principals only:  A copy of the Visa Assurance or approved LCA from the US Department of Labor or any equivalent document validated by the issuing authority (this must match the Categories and Numbers Required on the Job Order being filed – see item C above).

If your company is already  accredited with a recruitment agency in the Philippines, and you wish to cancel that accreditation and re-accredit/ re-register your company with Camox, the following documents are also required in addition to the above; otherwise proceed to Instruction no. 5.

This letter must be printed out using your company letterhead and addressed to your previous recruitment agent.  This should be duly signed by your company representative.

5. Please note that items A, B, C, D and items J, K (if applicable) must have one and the same signatory.  Please note that a copy of the signatory’s passport is required (see Item G above).

6. Please prepare three (3) sets of the above document requirements. One set will be retained by the POLO, the second set will be retained by the Philippine Consulate, and the third set will be stamped/verified and filed at the POEA for registration.

7. Attestation and stamping fees:  Prepare two separate cheques (company cheque, manager’s cheque, money order or cash only – no personal cheques or credit cards accepted). 7.a.  One cheque payable to Philippine Overseas Labor Office.  Please verify the filing fee with the POLO office nearest you.   LIST OF POLO OFFICES

8. File the three (3) sets of documents along with cheque payments to the POLO office nearest you.  These may be filed personally.  For applications by mail or courier, please enclose a return self-addressed prepaid envelope.

9. Upon release of the documents from the POLO and PhilConGen, please send the original copy of the attested documents to Camox, to the following address:

10. A  Camox representative will inform you once the documents are received. Camox will immediately file the attested documents at the POEA for registration purposes.

11. Approval takes 7-14 business day depending on the workload of the POEA.  A Camox representative will inform you once the registration is approved, and will furnish you with photocopies of the registered documents.

12. Recruitment activities may commence once the POEA registration is approved.
